The Impossible People

Street photography. Not always a very satisfying type of photography because you can never get people to bend to your own will. I can't randomly go up to a person and ask him whether I can take their photo for no valid reason. This applies even more when the person in question doesn't speak the same damn language as you do. This brings me back to my photography streak in France. See for yourself:

Crazy old lady with awesome Nikon camera. This photo is a very annoying reminder that pictures don't always go the way you want it to. I waited just a second too long to take the photo. As a result her face is blocked. The photo isn't COMPLETELY hedious, I suppose.

I would have turned this one into a monochrome but I realised that when I did that it made the picture quite flat because the yellow didn't stand out in b&w.

My fave out of this lot. Turned it into a sepia pic and I have to say, it's pretty good. =) I especially like the tones on the jeans and wall. The black colours however are a bit clashing.

My only non-France photo. I took this a couple days ago. I was just testing out the lens and this is the clearest I was able to get. My technique needs a bit of work...
